analysis of video.

Natasha Bedingfield - I bruise easily

In this video she is first seen covered in make-up and different colours. As she begins to take her make-up off we see a completely different person. The song is meant to convey a sad meaning, so by losing all the make-up she is revealing the 'real' her and makes us feel her feelings. When she removes her make-up she does it very simpley, by smudging it across her face, as if to show she doesn't care. Throughout this we are taking in all her emotions, which effects the audience. By including her crying this also adds to the communication of her feelings. This has an impact on the audience as they feel touched. We like the idea of removing the make-up and the crying scene as the song weve picked to do is sad. I think this part of the video is very effective as not only does it represent the meaning of the song, it also creates and effective and creative video.

This post needs far more detail in it. You must include Anderw Goodwin's theory in your analysis. Use the hand out I supplied you with in class to help you.

You'll need to reference the fact that she is dressed as a Geisha. Look up what a Geisha is on the internet and see how that alters your interpretation of the song.
